Adult Rehabilitation

The NSIC has experience of treating spinal cord injury in adult patients for 60 years. Following ward reconfiguration in October 2003 it now provides 60 adult rehabilitation beds across 3 adult rehabilitation wards including:

• St George’s, a 21 bed adult rehabilitation ward capable of taking up to 4 chronic ventilated patients.
• St David’s, a 23 bed adult rehabilitation ward.
• St Joseph’s, a 16 bed pre-discharge ward.
