Urology

A comprehensive urology service is provided by attending Urologist Mr John Reynard and by Mr Fadel Derry. Videourodynamics, cystoscopy, percutaneous stone removal in addition to more complex urological procedures are performed in the unit. Arrangements for patients requiring lithotripsy are made at another centre.

Surgery provided includes:

• Bladder reconstruction
• Cysto-urethroscopy
• Cystoscopy
• Trans-urethral resection of the prostate
• Trans-urethral resection of the bladder
• Urodynamics
• Botox injection
• Supra-pubic catheterisation
